Ras Um Sid is a popular area for snorkeling and diving due to the proximity of the beach reef, which is renowned for its vibrant coral and rare marine life.
The resort has an excellent small beach, although most of the hotels dotted around the headland have private sandy beaches with direct access to the coral and sea life. The area is not recommended for people with walking difficulties due to the many steps that lead to the beaches, although some hotels do offer car lifts or shuttle buses.
